2010 Limestone Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Dark, tart and beautifully structured, this young Cabernet shows nice fruit now but will mellow and integrate for years to come. 

This Cabernet is blended from blocks 2 and 5 in Adelaida Springs Ranch estate vineyard, which are planted on rocky but rich limestone clays that produce powerfully acidic wines with delicately exotic, flower and spice personalities. Block 2 is often the darkest of our Cabernets and contributes the stiffer tannins and black cherry character to the wine. Block 5 is the fruitier (blueberry), more floral component in the wine.
