2012 Petite Sirah

Petite Sirah is a dark, often brawny variety but our Adelaida Springs Ranch estate vineyard consistently produces a more refined, but still intense version of this wine.  Our 2012 Rangeland Petite Sirah carries heady aromas of blackberry and plum with a hint of hazelnut.  This velvety wine delivers burnt caramel, and clove.  The bright oaky vanilla flavors are balanced with enough juicy acidity and attention grabbing tannins to make this a rare, elegante Petite.   Rangeland Petite is good with food, especially barbecued and roasted meats.  It's also great for relaxed, "I'm just going to enjoy this bottle" drinking.
